Explanatory Note
This Current Report on Form 8-K/A is being filed solely to correct a minor grammatical error in the third paragraph of the news release included as Exhibit 99 to the Current Report on Form 8-K filed by Peoples Bancorp Inc. with the Securities and Exchange Commission on May 10, 2007. The corrected news release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.
