Section 8 – Other Events
On January 11, 2008, Peoples Bancorp Inc. issued a news release announcing the nomination of four directors for re-election at the annual meeting of shareholders to be held April 10, 2008. Peoples Bancorp Inc. also announced it will release the 2007 results of operations before the market opens on January 24, 2008 and conduct a conference call at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time the same day. A copy of the news release is attached as Exhibit 99 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
