Explanation of Responses:

1. Pursuant to the terms of the restricted stock unit ("RSU") grant by the registrant on April 11, 2019, shares of KLA common stock were automatically withheld to cover required tax withholding on the 41,441 shares of KLA common stock that vested. The fair market value of KLA common stock used for purposes of calculating the number of shares to be withheld was the closing price of KLA common stock as reported on April 11, 2023.

2. The number of shares of KLA common stock includes 107,694 shares issuable upon vesting of RSUs.

3. Shares held under the Wallace Living Trust u/a/d 03/27/01, as amended, a trust of which the Reporting Person is a trustee and beneficiary.
