Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers
On October 19, 2007, Electro Rent Corporation appointed Steven Markheim to the positions of President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Markheim has been Electro Rent’s Executive Vice President since February 2007. He joined Electro Rent as a Financial Analyst in 1980 and was promoted to Controller in 1986, and Vice President, Administration and Secretary in 1987. Mr. Markheim’s salary was increased to $300,000 per annum.
