On August 17, 2009, EMS Technologies, Inc. (“the Company”) and David A. Smith mutually agreed to terminate his service as Vice President and General Manager of the Company’s Defense & Space division, effective as of that date. Financial arrangements related to Mr. Smith’s departure are under discussion. The Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Neilson A. Mackay, will supervise the management of the Defense & Space division on an interim basis.
