Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure
The Empire District Electric Company (the “Company”) is updating its first-quarter 2015 Analyst Presentation to reflect the private placement financing of $60 million of 3.59% First Mortgage Bonds with settlement expected on or about August 20, 2015, and to include the June 12, 2015 affirmation of credit ratings by Fitch Ratings, Inc. A copy of the presentation slides is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
