Item 5. Other Events and Regulation FD Disclosure
On July 29, 2004, IKON Office Solutions, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that William S. Urkiel, the Company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, plans to retire in 2005. The Company’s press release dated July 29, 2004 containing further details is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.
