On October 8, 2007, Jonathan J. Spees resigned his position as a Director of Synthetic Blood International, Inc., effective that date.
On October 9, 2007, Richard Kiral, Ph.D., our Vice President of Research and Development, was elected by the Board of Directors to serve as a Director. Mr. Kiral holds a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry and has over of 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. He has held vice president positions in R&D at Anthony Products, Ioptex Research, Allergan, and McGaw Laboratories, where he was responsible for development of a nutritional fat emulsion.
