Item 8.01: Other Events
Today, TECO Energy, Inc. updated the status of synthetic fuel production by a subsidiary of TECO Coal Corporation, Pike Letcher Synfuel, LLC. Pike Letcher Synfuel has continued production of synthetic fuel in June and expects to continue producing during the month of July. However, oil prices are being closely monitored and production decisions are being reviewed weekly.
