In a press release on March 11, 2008, Swift Energy Company (the “Company”) announced that it entered into a marketing agreement (the “Agreement”) with a subsidiary of Enbridge Energy Partners for the purchase of up to 15 million cubic feet (“MMcf”) per day of natural gas out of the Company’s Bay de Chene Field with an option for take away capacity up to 25 MMcf per day, which capacity is expected to be available by the end of the second quarter 2008.
