CLEVELAND, Ohio – October 2, 2006 – Ferro Corporation (NYSE: FOE) announced today that it has filed its 2005 Annual Report on Form 10-K with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, meeting the filing schedule previously announced by the Company.
“We are pleased to finalize our audited 2005 financial statements and provide investors with our complete Annual Report,” said James Kirsch, Ferro President and Chief Executive Officer. “This is another significant step toward achieving a normal filing schedule and focusing the Company on profitable growth.”
The Company expects to file its 2005 reports on Form 10-Q for the quarters ending March 31, June 30 and September 30, 2005 by the end of October. With the completion of the 2005 financial filings, the Company will then focus on the completion of its Form 10-Q filings for the first three quarters of 2006, and expects to file these reports with the SEC by the end of 2006.
Ferro expects to discuss financial results for the quarters ending June 30 and September 30, 2006 in a press release and a conference call in November.
