Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers
Mr. Jay Levy has resigned as Chief Financial Officer of Unigene Laboratories, Inc. effective as of March 1, 2005. Mr. Levy will continue as the Company’s Chairman of the Board, Treasurer and Assistant Secretary. Effective as of March 1, 2005, the Board of Directors appointed William J. Steinhauer, CPA, to the position of Vice President of Finance, the principal financial and accounting officer of the Company. Mr. Steinhauer, age 49, served as the Company’s Director of Finance from October 2003 through February 2005 and as Controller from July 1987 to September 2003. Prior thereto, Mr. Steinhauer served as Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary of Refac Technology Development Corporation.
