Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On October 24, 2024, Trustmark Corporation (Trustmark) filed a Current Report on Form 8-K (the Initial 8-K) disclosing that, on October 22, 2024, the Board of Directors of Trustmark (the Board) appointed Lea B. Turnipseed to the Board, effective January 1, 2025. At the time of the Initial 8-K, the Board had not determined Ms. Turnipseed’s committee assignments.
On December 3, 2024, the Nominating & Governance Committee of the Board recommended to the Board that Ms. Turnipseed be appointed to the Enterprise Risk Committee, effective January 1, 2025, and the Audit Committee, effective April 1, 2025. These recommendations will be considered for approval by the Board at its meeting scheduled for January 28, 2025.
