Item 8.01 OTHER EVENTS.
On March 26, 2015, Mackinac Financial Corporation (the “Company”) reported the dividend and payment date of an approved cash dividend of $.075 per common share, payable April 15, 2015 to shareholders of record as of April 6, 2015. The dividend was approved by the Board of Directors on March 24, 2015.
On March 26, 2015 the Company issued a press release announcing the dividend. A copy of the press release is attached to this Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
