Item 4.01 Changes in Registrant’s Certifying Accountant
(b) On May 9, 2013, the Audit Committee of First West Virginia Bancorp, Inc. engaged BKD, LLP as its successor independent registered public accounting firm to audit the Company’s financial statements. Since January 1, 2011, the Company has not consulted BKD, LLP regarding (i) the application of accounting principles to a specified transaction or (ii) the type of audit opinion that might be rendered on the Company’s financial statements.
