14. Description of Amendment/Modification (Organized by UCF section headings, including solicitation/contract subject matter where feasible.) PURPOSE OF MODIFICATION: The purpose of this modification is to exercise option period II of the contract for the period 01 April 2005 to 31 March 2006. A. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation clause 52.217-9 entitled OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT (MAR 2000), the Government hereby exercises option period II of the contract for Managed Care Support for services from 1 April 2005 through 31 March 2006. Contract line item numbers 0201 through 0212 are hereby incorporated and made a part of the contract.
