The following information is furnished under Item 7.01 - Regulation FD Disclosure:

On June 30, 2014, American Express Company announced that it has completed its previously announced plans to establish a joint venture for its Global Business Travel division. The Company also announced that it plans to release its second quarter 2014 financial results shortly after the market closes on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. A copy of the press release containing these announcements is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
