AMERICAN VANGUARD DECLARES $0.02 SEMI-ANNUAL CASH DIVIDEND
Newport Beach, CA – September 14, 2010 – American Vanguard Corp. (NYSE:AVD) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.02 per share. The dividend will be distributed on October 14, 2010 to shareholders of record as of September 24, 2010.
Eric Wintemute, President and CEO of American Vanguard, stated, “We are pleased to declare this semi-annual dividend which continues our 15 year history of providing such returns to our shareholders. This dividend represents an increase over each of the prior two payments, reflecting gradually improving business conditions and our confidence in American Vanguard’s ability to capitalize on market opportunities.”
