Apache Corporation priced $500 million of six-year notes maturing on April 15, 2013. Proceeds will be used to reduce existing commercial paper balances which will increase Apache’s committed borrowing capacity. Apache sold the 5.25 percent coupon notes priced to yield 5.299 percent. Interest on the notes is payable Oct. 15, 2007, and semi-annually thereafter. The transaction is expected to close April 16, 2007.
Citigroup Corporate and Investment Banking and UBS Investment Bank are the joint book-running managers for the offering.
