Item 2.01 Completion of Acquisition or Disposition of Assets.
On July 10, 2007, MDU Resources Group, Inc. issued a press release announcing that it has closed the sale of its domestic independent power production business unit to Bicent Power LLC. A copy of the press release is incorporated by reference herein and is attached as Exhibit 99.
