Item 8.01 Other Events.
On October 3, 2008 Moog Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company has agreed to acquire Berkeley Process Control, Inc. (Berkeley) for $14 million in cash. Berkeley’s motion control software and hardware automates the precise handling of semiconductor wafers and enhances the speed, quality and safety of welding in the oil & gas market and nuclear fuel canisters.
