During the six months ended June 30, 2018 , the deferred income taxes increase was primarily driven by the acquisition of Avigilon. Stockholders’ Equity Share Repurchase Program: Through a series of actions, the Board of Directors has authorized the Company to repurchase in the aggregate up to $14.0 billion of its outstanding shares of common stock (the “share repurchase program”). The share repurchase program does not have an expiration date. During the six months ended June 30, 2018 , the Company paid an aggregate of $66 million , including transaction costs, to repurchase approximately 0.6 million shares at an average price of $101.54 per share. As of June 30, 2018 , the Company had used approximately $12.4 billion of the share repurchase authority, including transaction costs, to repurchase shares, leaving $1.6 billion of authority available for future repurchases.
