Item 8.01 Other Events
On October 5, 2007, Nash-Finch Company (the “Company”) issued a press release, a copy of which is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report and is incorporated by reference herein, announcing that the Hennepin County District Court in Minneapolis, Minnesota has issued a temporary restraining order enjoining certain hedge funds from declaring an acceleration of any debt due under the indenture governing the Nash-Finch Senior Subordinated Notes 2035 (the “Indenture”) and tolling the thirty-day cure period for any breach of the Indenture.
