Item 8.01 Other Events
On July 15, 2005, American Medical Alert Corp. (the “Company”) received a contract extension from the City of New York’s Human Resources Administration (“NYCHRA”) with respect to the Company’s existing personal emergency response systems contract (the “Contract”) with NYCHRA. The Contract was extended until June 30, 2006, under the same terms and conditions.
A Copy of the Company’s press release announcing the extension is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
