Glenn E. Moyer, National Penn President, said: “Despite operating challenges facing our industry, we are very pleased with our performance in the second quarter. We continue to listen to our clients and respond with solutions that meet their needs. As an example, during the second quarter we developed a new Prime Choice CD. This CD allows a client to choose a one or two-year term and enjoy a rate that “floats” at 60% of the published Prime Rate. The initial response to this competitively priced product has been favorable. We continue to take great pride in our reputation as a proven and respected local financial services company. Our co-workers are striving every day to create a strong financial future for our clients and our company.”
