WHEREAS, MYR Group Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Company”), is required to file with the Securities and Exchange Commission pursuant to Section 13 or 15(d) under the provisions of the Securities Act of 1934 a Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2016; and

WHEREAS, each of the undersigned holds the office or offices in the Company herein below set opposite his or her name.

NOW, THEREFORE, each of the undersigned hereby constitutes and appoints Richard S. Swartz, Jr., Betty R. Johnson, and Gerald B.
