Item 8.01 Other Events.
On May 25, 2017, Lawson Products, Inc. (the "Company") completed the sale of its distribution center located in Fairfield, New Jersey ("Fairfield Location"). The Company received net cash proceeds of $6.2 million. Additionally, the Company expects to record a gain on the transaction of approximately $5.4 million in the second quarter of 2017. The Company had previously announced a plan to close the Fairfield Location in November, 2016.
