On July 10, 2008, Joseph W. Carmichael provided notice to National Research Corporation (the “Company”) of his resignation as President and a director of the Company, effective as of such date. The Company’s Chief Executive Officer, Michael D. Hays, has been appointed to the additional role of President of the Company effective as of July 10, 2008. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
