Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
On February 18, 2010, German American Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company") will announce that its banking subsidiary had entered into an agreement to purchase two branches of Farmers State Bank of Alto Pass, Ill., in metropolitan Evansville, Indiana. The Company's press release relating to these transactions is attached as Exhibit 99(a) and the information set forth therein is incorporated herein by reference and constitutes a part of this report.
