Explanatory Note
This Current Report on Form 8-K/A (this “Amendment”) is filed to correct the Current Report on Form 8-K filed by ACNB Corporation on September 14, 2022, which inadvertently omitted XBRL tagging on the cover page. The sole purpose of this Amendment is to correct the XBRL tagging. No other changes have been made to the original report.

As more fully described in the attached press release dated September 14, 2022, Central Penn Business Journal named ACNB Corporation to its annual list of the Fastest Growing Companies in Central Pennsylvania for 2022 with the ranking of #26 announced on September 12, 2022. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference. The information furnished under this Item 8.01 of this Current Report on Form 8-K shall not be deemed to be filed for purposes of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
