ACNB CORPORATION REPORTS
THIRD QUARTER EARNINGS
GETTYSBURG, PA, October 30---ACNB Corporation reported year-to-date net income of $7,827,000 for the nine months ended September 30, 2014, compared to $7,048,000 over the same nine-month period in 2013, an increase of $779,000 or 11%. Net income on a per share basis was $1.30 for the first nine months of 2014 and was $1.18 for the same period in 2013.
The Corporation reported net income of $2,624,000 for the three months ended September 30, 2014, compared to $2,308,000 for the same quarter in 2013, an increase of $316,000 or 14%. Net income on a per share basis amounted to $0.44 for the third quarter of 2014 and was $0.39 for the same period in 2013.
Quarterly cash dividends paid to ACNB Corporation stockholders for the first nine months of 2014 totaled $3,419,000, or $0.57 per share. This is the same per share amount that was paid in the first nine months of 2013.
Total assets of ACNB Corporation at September 30, 2014, were $1.07 billion, an increase of 3% over September 30, 2013. Total deposits increased slightly over the previous year to $824 million. Total loans rose by 7% to $766 million, as compared to September 30, 2013. An 8% increase in stockholders’ equity resulted in an aggregate of $112 million at September 30, 2014, compared to $103 million at September 30, 2013.
