Cincinnati Bell Prices Offering of $500 Million of 8 3/8% Senior Notes Due 2020
CINCINNATI—October 7, 2010—Cincinnati Bell Inc. (NYSE: CBB) today announced that it has priced a public offering of $500 million aggregate principal amount of senior notes due 2020 at par. The notes will bear interest at a rate of 8 3/8 percent per annum, payable on April 15 and October 15 of each year, beginning April 15, 2011. The company intends to use the net proceeds from the sale of the notes to repay outstanding borrowings under its senior credit facilities and to pay related fees and expenses.
The company expects the issuance and delivery of the notes to occur on October 13, 2010, subject to customary closing conditions. The notes were offered pursuant to an automatic shelf registration statement on Form S-3 filed on September 30, 2009 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”).
