Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Arrow Financial Corporation (the “Company”) received notice on December 15, 2016 of John J. Murphy's retirement from the Board of Directors of the Company, after 10 years of service as Director, effective December 31, 2016. Mr. Murphy began his banking career at Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company in 1973 and retired from the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2006 after 33 years of dedicated service. We wish him the best in his retirement.
