Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On April 16, 2010, Shuffle Master, Inc.’s (NASDAQ Global Select Market: SHFL) (either the “Company,” “we” or “our”) Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, Coreen Sawdon, left the Company as a result of the elimination of the Chief Accounting Officer position and will be pursuing other opportunities. The Company’s Chief Financial Officer, Linster W. Fox, has assumed both the duties and direct reports of the Chief Accounting Officer position. Ms. Sawdon will continue to be available to the Company on a limited basis for a transition period.
