Item 8.01 Other Events
Shuffle Master, Inc. (“SMI”) hereby provides the following update to its Vending Data II description of Legal Proceedings:
On November 29, 2004, the United States District Court, for the District of Nevada, granted the motion for preliminary injunction filed by SMI in SMI’s litigation against VendingData concerning the Poker One shuffler. The injunction is effective upon SMI’s posting of a three million dollar security with the court, which SMI expects to complete November 30, 2004.
