Item 2.03 Creation of a Direct Financial Obligation or an Obligation under an Off-Balance Sheet Arrangement of a Registrant.
On April 19, 2011, Northern Illinois Gas Company, the gas distribution subsidiary of Nicor Inc., entered into a syndicated revolving credit facility. The new facility is a $400 million 364-day seasonal revolver expiring in April 2012. The new facility replaces a seasonal revolving credit facility that was set to expire in April of 2011.
The new facility includes a total of 15 lenders and was arranged by J.P. Morgan Securities Inc., RBS Securities Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC.
