Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
In wide ranging interview with Dow Jones Newswire following the earnings conference call this morning, Ed Campbell, Nordson Corporation’s Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, reflected on a number of points addressed in the conference call and discussed other topics including the following:
1. Our effective tax rate for the second, third and fourth quarters of fiscal year 2010 is estimated to be 33% and 30% for the full fiscal year, and
2. Expenditures in fiscal year 2010 for traditional plant and equipment capital improvements are expected to be $20 million, with $5 million of that amount to be expended on the construction of our headquarters in Westlake, Ohio.
