On November 21, 2014, Merchants Bancshares, Inc. (“Merchants”) issued a press release announcing that on November 20, 2014 the Board of Directors voted to approve the appointment of Geoffrey R. Hesslink as the thirteenth President and CEO of Merchants’ main operating subsidiary, Merchants Bank, effective January 1, 2015. Mr. Hesslink currently serves as Merchants’ Chief Operating Officer and as Merchants Bank’s Executive Vice President and Senior Lending Officer.
