Item 2.02Results of Operations and Financial Condition
On July 22, 2009, Wells Fargo & Company (the “Company”) issued a press release regarding its results of operations and financial condition for the quarter and six months ended June 30, 2009, and posted on its website supplemental information related to credit performance of certain of the Company’s loan portfolios for the quarter and six months ended June 30, 2009 (the “Credit Supplement”). The press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated by reference into this Item 2.02. The information included in Exhibit 99.1 is considered to be “filed” for purposes of Section 18 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. The Credit Supplement is included as Exhibit 99.2 to this report and is incorporated by reference into this Item 2.02. Exhibit 99.2 shall not be considered “filed” for purposes of Section 18 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and shall not be deemed to be incorporated by reference into the filings of the Company under the Securities Act of 1933. The Company will report complete financial statements and additional analyses for the quarter and six months ended June 30, 2009, as part of its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q covering that period.
