(b) James D. White notified the Board of Directors (“Board”) of Adtalem Global Education Inc. (“Adtalem”) of his resignation from the Board and the committees on which he served, effective April 30, 2021. Mr. White’s resignation did not involve any disputes or conflicts with management or with the Board.
In connection with the foregoing, the Board will decrease the size of the Board from ten to nine.
Adtalem also announced that Chaka M. Patterson, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary has resigned from his position as of April 30, 2021 to pursue another opportunity. Mr. Patterson’s resignation did not involve any disputes or conflicts with management or with the Board. A search is underway and until Mr. Patterson’s successor is identified, Larry Bachman, Adtalem’s Associate General Counsel, will serve as the Interim General Counsel.
