On September 4, 2008, the board of directors elected Christopher J. Kearney to Nucor’s board of directors effective October 1, 2008. The board of directors also elected Mr. Kearney to the Audit Committee, the Compensation and Executive Development Committee and the Governance and Nominating Committee.
