PARALLEL PETROLEUM ANNOUNCES SENIOR NOTES OFFERING
MIDLAND, Texas, (BUSINESS WIRE), July 19, 2007- Parallel Petroleum Corporation (NASDAQ: PLLL) today announced that it is offering $150 million of its senior notes due 2014 (the “Notes”). The net proceeds of the offering will be used to reduce outstanding indebtedness under Parallel’s existing credit agreement and second lien term loan facility.
The Notes have not been and will not be registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Act”), and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent registration or an applicable exemption from the registration requirements of the Act and applicable state laws.
