Item 8.01 - Other Events
On September 2, 2005, Overseas Shipholding Group, Inc. (the "Registrant") issued two press releases announcing (1) that Captain Peter J. Swift retired as the Registrant's Senior Vice President and Head of Shipping Operations and that he will be succeeded by Captain Robert E. Johnston and (2) several promotions and global management changes of the Registrant's subsidiaries. Copies of such press releases are attached hereto as Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2, respectively, and are incorporated herein by reference.
