Item 8.01 Other Events.
On September 24, 2021, the Shasta County District Attorney’s office filed a criminal complaint (the “Complaint”) against Pacific Gas and Electric Company (the “Utility”) related to the 2020 Zogg fire, the 2020 Daniel fire, the 2020 Ponder fire, and the 2021 Woody fire. The Complaint charges the Utility with 11 felonies and 20 misdemeanors, including four felony counts of involuntary manslaughter. The Utility intends to vigorously defend itself.
