On November 6, 2006, the Company announced that, based on interim median overall survival data from its on-going Phase 2 clinical study of picoplatin in small cell lung cancer, it planned to commence a Phase 3 pivotal trial of picoplatin in small cell lung cancer in the first half of 2007.  See press release dated November 6, 2006 attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
