(a) On May 28, 2009, the Company announced updated efficacy and safety data from its Phase 2 clinical trial of picoplatin in patients with metastatic castration-resistant (hormone-refractory) prostate cancer. (b) On May 28, 2009, the Company announced updated clinical data from its randomized, controlled Phase 2 trial of picoplatin in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer. See press release dated May 28, 2009, attached hereto as Exhibit 99.2 and incorporated herein by reference.
