ITEM 2.02. RESULTS OF OPERATIONS AND FINANCIAL CONDITION
On January 26, 2006, Capstead Mortgage Corporation issued a press release announcing fourth quarter 2005 results, setting the record date for annual meeting and establishing the common dividend schedule for 2006. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
