Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition
On October 31, 2005, IndyMac Bancorp, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Company”), issued an earnings press release announcing its results of operations and financial condition for the quarter ended September 30, 2005. A copy of the Company’s press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
On October 31, 2005, the Company will host a live webcast presentation in connection with its quarterly release of earnings. A copy of the Company’s webcast presentation is furnished as Exhibit 99.2 hereto.
Item 8.01. Other Events
The Company reported a $5.2 million pre-tax loss related to the Gulf Coast Hurricanes, or $0.05 per share, in the third quarter of 2005. The Company has filed information on the development of the Company’s hurricane-related loss estimates as Exhibit 99.3 hereto.
