| On February 27, 2009, United Bancorp, Inc. issued a press release in which it announced an adjustment to its earnings for the fourth quarter of 2008 and full year ended December 31, 2008. The adjustment related to its recognition of an impairment of loans to one borrower and its corresponding increase in the amount of its Allowance for Loan Losses.
