The Republic of Peru (the “Registrant”) hereby withdraws the acceleration request included in its letter filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “Commission”) at 6:09 a.m. on August 11, 2015, whereby the Registrant requested that the above-referenced Registration Statement under Schedule B (as amended to the date hereof, the “Registration Statement”) be declared effective on August 11, 2015. In addition, pursuant to Rule 461 under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Act”), the Registrant hereby requests that the Registration Statement be declared effective by 5:00 p.m. on August 12, 2015 or as soon as practicable thereafter.
Pursuant to this request, the Registrant acknowledges that:
